About Proximiti

Proximiti Technologies was founded seven years ago in Tampa Florida. It was a spinoff of a former publicly traded company, Z-Tel, that was a leading provider of home telephone service with partners including Sprint and MCI. Proximiti has a strong technology and network orientation. It operates both an advanced IP Network, and also a national Wireless Network. Proximiti’s internal resources focus on developing innovative software applications that can be combined with its Network Resources, or those their clients already use, to meet specific needs.

Proximiti’s technology is robust:

Software applications that can be used on Android, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, and iPhones
PC desktop software used by business for communications and for professionals to track time spent on activities
Software on servers that link communications of almost any user, on a PC, office phone, or mobile device, to back end management systems. The software provides important productivity benefits and can also eliminate tedious tasks for end users and improve corporate cost management and security.
Proximiti has recently extended its technology and network services to be used by Health Care organizations to better care for patients and importantly, to allow seniors to live independently and more safely. Proximiti software, for example, can monitor in home sensors and video cameras even local devices, and keep family members and caregivers linked to seniors. A son or daughter can check on his or her parents by clicking on an app installed on their smart phones.

Proximiti works with a wide range of partners including traditional communications carriers, value added resellers of software and business solutions, Microsoft value added resellers, legal IT and medical software VARs, and traditional business consulting companies. We also are beginning to work with a growing number of Home Health Care organizations and major medical institutions. We also offer several services directly to retail consumers.

Proximiti consists of 20 plus employees, most of which are involved in software development, network management, and system design. The company is headquartered in Tampa Florida.
